As many of you know, my sister and her 4 girls moved in with me. It has been rough getting much work done in the last few months. But 2 weeks ago she was able to close on a new house for herself and her girls. Yay!
A couple of days before that I had a publisher get in touch with me:) I just signed on with them! Also I got a phone call from on location casting, so I went down to be an extra in one of their TV series:)
Now I’ve been doing a lot of thinking on how to free up my time and be able to pay my bills.
New Mexico has a ton of films that need extra’s, usually 10 hours a day. I pulled 16 hours my first time. Would it be worth it to work as an extra 3-4 days a week? I’d make more than I’m making now. And I’d have more time to write. But it is exhausting to work on the set.
Dark Fates Madness will be coming out in Oct. and it would be nice to get that wrapped up so I can finish working on Sam’s story.
I have a decision to make on the “pay the bills” job-or extra’s work.
Any advice? It’s exciting, but going to be another leap out of my comfort zone.
